For thirty years I’ve been a runner. Many miles in many cities, through countryside’s, on mountain trials, ranches and quiet stretches of road. Both knees are fine, more or less, the body stronger from the time in running shoes and the mind enhanced with the time in motion and what I feel is a part of body meditation. There is also the pleasure of the “runner’s high” gained with a good run, described by some as a sense of timelessness, of oneness with the universe.
-
This same oneness happens often when I work, when I create with a camera. Zen like times when all seems to flow and images emerge, when I am pulled and directed towards happenings and the magic of the moment. It can happen often actually, being well prepared is the base and foundation that allows the flow to happen and allows openness to the course of creativity. I heard it referred to as the “zone” when all flows without effort.
-
Perhaps the years of running helped create a trust in the flow and knowing that with openness to higher levels of consciousness there are higher levels of creativity. Connecting with the flow of the moment in photography, which is a timeless bliss, is what I seek and where photos of higher connection to the heart and soul are created.
-
Photos like these, created in a place of inner flow.

While I was in Jackson Wyoming a corporate shoot opportunity came up and I shot a fun evening of events as the very happy group enjoyed the Jackson Hole Land & Cattle Ranch and the sweeping views of the Tetons.
