Very cool old vines in Rutherford. The vines are coming alive with green and I’m starting to see great possibilities for images in the coming weeks.

Beautiful rain today, a nice soaking rain. The pouring rain drove me into Cook in St Helena for lunch, oh darn, but afterwards the rain had stopped and I was able to shoot. Here is a photo of wet vines with the bud break of leaves. The beginning of an amazing glass of Napa Valley wine.

Opening this blog log I laughed at the term of spring break for bud break on the vines. Saturday evening humor after editing….
