Okay, I know there are a few photos below from Stacey and Michael’s elopement but sometimes there are photos that really pull back to the feel of the time and emotion of the moment. These two shots are that re-visit, as they say here in Napa, and the feel of their closeness.

Vineyards are beautiful right now and while I’ve been shooting a lot for now just this one photo from last evening. Cabernet grapes which in the coming weeks will turn purple. I’ll continue shooting as they edge towards ripeness.

Stacey and Michael eloped to Napa Valley. From Boca Raton Florida they loved Napa Valley and their quiet wedding at the Silverado Resort.

A gift to friends as I shot their rehearsal party at Pine Ridge Winery on the Silverado Trail. Beautiful location and couple and a fun party for their family and friends, compete with winery and cave tour, barrel tasting and delicious foods.

Okay, I’m back in Napa, shooting a lot but slowed a bit when it comes to the blog as there are still issues with adding photos easily. But, here we are, fixed for the moment, with a few shoots to share.

This very cool couple is being married in Yosemite next month and we met in St Helena last week for a few engagement type photos. It’s a great feeling to meet a couple and deeply feel they are perfect together – I can see it through the lens, as if all else is excluded and I’m able to focus in on their connection.

During her wedding a few weeks ago at the Carneros Inn in Napa the bride allowed her heavy bouquet to simply drop in from of her for a few moments. This photo taken while she chatted with friends and family also shows a bit of the detail of her mother’s wedding dress which she wore on her wedding day.

Yestreday on the return from San Francisco I took the drive up into the Marin Headlands and overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. Nice symbol of American this holiday weekend.
