This is blog post 200 and over time I’ve shared my photos and travels and a few favorite quotes; I have also shared the joys of my work and client images.

Aptly I have two clients this year with the last names of Silver and Gold – the perfect description of those who I have been honored to photograph or photograph their property. These clients and properties are spread from coast to coast; with properties they range from ranches and businesses to vineyards. With people I am fortunate to have always had the nicest of clients – the fond memories go beyond their images.

Thank you for your time with my blog posts, thanks for allowing me to be a part of your lives and create so many images and memories.

Sandy is a thearpy dog I met earlier this summer, a fine older dog who needed a portrait. With his age I need to check, it’s either 11 or 14, but in this photo he looks like a puppy again. “Good dog Sandy.”

Have you ever known someone who was always happy, always smiling? I mean not just most of the time but all the time, like there was no other way of life than to smile and share the joy of life. There truly are people like that and one was my nephew Brandon. I tried this evening to think of one time when I could possibly remember him not smiling and I just could not – the smile was always there, always present. Would we, could we, all be so lucky to live life so happily, present and greatly appreciative of just living? Brandon lived in a way that was simple and large, engulfing way more than his years, surpassing all the travels possible, edging on bliss every moment of his short life. Brandon, I love you, I’ll miss you, and I’ll do all I can to follow your lead to live so fully, so present, so boundless, so joyfully, so happily, so open to all the joys of this wonderful life we are given.
