Sunday I hiked with good friend Vickie V and her son, Cameron; we hiked to Cascade Falls in Marin.  Before we reached the falls we hiked to a bit of an overlook and had a picnic.  In this shot a mini nap for Cameron.

Aloha from Hawaii!  If I lived here I’m sure I would be a surfing shooter junkie - it’s amazing to shoot and watch the big waves and the surfers in the Pipeline.  Equally amazing was watching the people who were watching the waves, most didn’t even speak, just stood and watched the power of the sets and sets of waves.

Okay, so I’ve been shooting a lot, many cool, fun and love filled weddings, vineyard harvest and this afternoon engagement photos in San Francisco. Kricket and Mike are to be married next month in Capitola and today we shot near the location where they had their first date, the Delance Street Restaurant .

Kids and photos - a magical time.  Photographing children is, generally, a time when parents seek the nice family group photos and when I seek photos like this where when left to their playful, interesting selves children are real just being in the moment. Yes we get those nice family photos and often much more when moments like this happen and are captured. This little wedge of time of Yael’s life, quietly captured, printed and now always remembered.

A gift to friends as I shot their rehearsal party at Pine Ridge Winery on the Silverado Trail. Beautiful location and couple and a fun party for their family and friends, compete with winery and cave tour, barrel tasting and delicious foods.

Fernand and Kim, a totally blissful and very happy couple, were married on Saturday afternoon at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. All guests, including photographers, loved the celebration and the joy of the newly married couple.
