Same morning as the photo below.

Most certainly it’s winter in Napa Valley.

For a year I’ve been trying to get this photo of the sweeping fog from the mountains and valley around this vineyard.

Arriving back into the Bay Area last week I stopped by Paradise Vineyards in Carneros to check autumn color.

As my days, weeks, months, have been so busy with shooting and editing I’ve put off blog post and now would like to share a few photos from along my path of shooting.

This photo from To Kalon Vineyard taken as fog and clouds went sweeping up and around the valley during sunrise. It’s a tough shoot at this location with direction of vines as they run in the valley but with the right conditions it begins to work.

I’m back in Napa after a trip to the East Coast and just beginning to catch up with work and images.
